I have many, many images to sort through, but here are a few that stood out as I was going through them today.
Krystal is a stunning bride! I LOVE this photo of her!
Dustin is looking pretty sharp himself.
I thought this one was sexy.
Dustin & Krystal had a cool old car come over for some photos, this is my favorite one by far.
Here are the ladies, what a hot wedding party!
The ladies again.
The guys are looking pretty good too.
We have a whole series of these photos--the guys were running towards us. Jeannette and I were genuinely scared for a few seconds, we had 8 big guys running at us full force while we were sitting on the ground. I have to admit, I was more worried for my camera than for myself :)
I normally don't share very many family photos, but since this is my family I thought I'd post it. G & I are on the far left :) I love everyone's expressions here, Jeannette told everyone to "kiss" and this is what we got!
While Jeannette was taking large group photos, I pulled everyone aside to get individual family shots. First up is Gene's sister Tanya and her family, Rod, Austin, Lucas & Dylan.
And one of Tanya alone, I was teaching her some poses on Friday night and she practiced them for me. haha :)
Next is his brother Delaney and his girlfriend Kristin.
The three brothers with their cousin, Danny.
This is Krystal's sister and her husband Dave and son David.
And finally we have Krystal's brother and his wife Kelly and daughter Jozie.
This next photo is one of my favorite "finds" of the day. I was downloading my cards and came across a bunch of photos that I hadn't taken. Gene's son got a hold of my 2nd camera and took some great shots. I love this one he captured of his cousin Dylan. If you look closely you can see him in the reflection of the sunglasses.
Oh, and of course we had Jeannette take a few shots of us!
Believe it or not, we got through all of the group shots, portraits, and family shots in two hours. That is amazing considering how big of a group we had. We made it to the church with plenty of time. The ceremony and church were beautiful.
If you look closely at Delaney's expression (far right) you can tell he his fighting back tears.
After the ceremony the wedding party went to a bar down by the river. Jeanette had Dustin & Krystal go down on the dock for some photos, it was easy getting down but hard getting back up. Check out how steep the ramp is!
And of course, Gene'o & Delaney had to show off by running up the ramp.
When we got to the reception we did a few more portraits outside. Here are a few favorites.
I made sure to take a quick portrait of my soon-to-be husband, Gene'o! Look how handsome he is in his tux!
And I have a ton of dance photos to go through, but this is one of my favorites of Tanya and Rod! They were having so much fun!
So all in all I think it's easy to see that we had a wonderful time! It is certainly different shooting a wedding for family. It is very weird to know everybody but it made it that much more fun. We are so lucky to have such great people in our lives and we're blessed to be able to do what we do! We had a great time and I cannot wait to see Jeanette's photos, I just know she has some awesome shots as well!
