Tatum & Patrick {engaged!}

What a crazy busy summer we've been having! The first week in August started out to be one of the busiest yet. I spent Sunday evening until Wednesday a.m. in WI with my family, got together with photographers for some fun photo shoots on Wednesday, I had an awesome baby session last Friday and a wedding yesterday. Yes, it was a busy week! This is my week to get caught up on the blog and processing photos, so I'm working on Sunday to try to get ahead before my next super busy week starts.

We photographed this awesome engagement session with Tatum & Patrick on a gorgeous Friday evening in June. The light was perfect, we had a great location, and Tatum & Patrick looked great! All of those elements combined made for a fun photo shoot which resulted in some great photos.

I loved this simple blue door on the white building.

We pulled the wide angle out to get a different effect on the same shot.


It was like this location was made for photos! So many great colors and textures.


There were some skateboarders hanging out and we asked if we could use them in the photos and they gladly obliged!


They can pull of serious well!


And hot too!

This one is my personal favorite from the session, I love the contrast between their dark hair and the white wall!

We had tons of fun with these guys and we're SO looking forward to their May wedding at the Depot in Minneapolis!
