Elizabeth + Mark {married!}

The Saturday before Christmas we traveled to Little Falls during a huge snow storm to photograph Elizabeth & Mark's wedding. We left plenty early that morning due to the six inches of snow that were falling. Not only was it snowing, but it was COLD! We met Elizabeth and Mark just a few weeks before their wedding. Their previous photographer had bailed on them and we happened to have their date open so it worked out perfectly. I know it must have been stressful to find a photographer in such short notice, but I'm so happy it worked out the way it did because we had tons of fun with these guys!

Elizabeth & Mark (and even most of their friends!) describe themselves as "nerds" but we saw anything but. They both looked absolutely stunning on their wedding day and were incredibly happy. Unfortunatley, though the snow kept several of their guests from attending the reception, but that didn't stop those that did make it from having a wonderful time.

Their wedding was unique and intimate affair at a beautiful venue called Linden Hill. The house and decor were so charming and perfect for a small wedding. When Elizabeth told us she would be wearing a ruby red dress I was secretly hoping for snow since I knew the photos would be stunning. Well, I got my wish and we were lucky that Elizabeth and Mark were troopers and braved the sub-zero temps for a few minutes to get some really cool shots.

Here are some of our faves from the day. Be sure to check out the short video at the end of the post to see more photos!

Getting ready in Elizabeth's parents bedroom. We were really cramped for space in there but somehow the girls managed to get Elizabeth into her awesome dress!

The beautiful Linden Hill where the ceremony took place.

It's obvious that Elizabeth has done some modeling, she knows how to pose!

I like this candid of Elizabeth during group shots.

The ceremony was full of smiles, tears, and laughter.

The song during the unity candle lighting went a bit longer than anticipated, so Elizabeth helped fill the time by helping her flower girl spread petals.

First Kiss

After the ceremony we went outside to get these awesome shots.

Then we traveled to Princeton for the reception. The first dance was non-traditional upbeat dance to Weezer's Buddy Holly...it fit them perfectly!

One of the groomsmen had a little fun pretending to "moon" us..!

We had a great time with these guys and were so happy to be part of their day!
