Holiday Photos in Wisconsin!

In Novemember I travelled to my hometown, Spring Green, WI, for my sister's baby shower. She is due in February and this is her first baby. The shower was a lot of fun, and she got a lot of great gifts for the baby. I can't wait to be an auntie! You can be sure there will be lots of photos of the baby on this blog in 2009.

While I was in WI, I managed to fit in three photoshoots. One of them was for one of my dearest friends from high school and her handsome son. It was pretty chilly out when we took these shots, and there was lightly falling snow. I worked as quickly as possible to get these shots! I love how they turned out, it's obvious that Carrie and Carter have an awesome chemistry together.

We started out by the fire station. When I spotted the bright red doors I knew we had to get some shots there.

We were getting in the car ready to head to the next location, and I made them get back out so I could get this shot. I love the yellow stripes!

Then we headed to the countryside to get a few nature shots. My car almost got stuck in the ditch trying to get these shots. No worries, we got out ok.

Handsome Carter

I think Carrie thought I was crazy when I wanted them to pose next to some scrap metal. But the blue was so vibrant I couldn't resist!

My favorite from the session! This was taken by a big old willow tree near the creek on her parents' land.

Next we went to a cool barn behind her parents' house. Love this one.

Carter wanted to make silly faces the entire time we were doing photos, so finally I gave him permission to do whatever he wanted!

Stay tuned for more photos from my Wisconsin weekend!
