Tabatha & Rob {engaged!}

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I know I sure have been having a great couple of days. I decided to forgo travelling with Gene'o to North Dakota in order to have four quiet days alone to catch up on my growing to-do list--part of which includes blogging my backlog of photos from this fall. It proved to be a smart decision as I have been very productive, so if you're a client who's been eagerly awaiting photos from us, I promise they will be ready soon!

Now, on to some photos! When we first met Tabatha and Rob in a coffee shop in August, I knew they would be alot of fun to work with. They have a wonderful chemistry together and their wacky personalities compliment each other well. Needless to say, I knew going in to their engagement session that we would get some fun pictures, and they did not prove me wrong. On a beautiful day in October we met up at the Sculpture Garden and made our way through Loring Park and into some urban alleys.

We are so excited to photograph their vineyard wedding next summer!! But for now, enjoy their engagement photos--I think you can get a sense of their personalities just by looking at them!

As Rob would say, Coy or Koi?

Rob demonstrates his tree climbing abilities quite nicely.

Double leg kick, how nice.

This alley was a great accidental find. It had all sorts of cool signs & doorways.
No parking

One of my favorites. When Gene'o and I went around the corner and saw this spot we both knew it would make for some great photos and it did.

The number 24 is a significant number for them (no it's not their wedding date) and I thought it was so cool that Tabatha made these shirts for them to wear for a few of their shots.

The end!

Oh wait....to keep with our tradition...here is our "self portrait" taken by Rob. Gene'o was trying to dip me but I don't recommend it when you're carrying expensive and HEAVY camera gear!

Awkward dip
